New Year is not about changing the Dates but Direction ;

It’s not about changing the Calendar but Commitment ;

It’s not about changing the Actions but Attitude ;

It’s not about changing the Fruit but Faith, Force and Focus !

These few lines posted by one of my connections here on LinkedIn lately (pardon me but I did not note down your name and am sorry for that !) evoked the desired emotions as we collectively march ahead into a new year and a brand new decade as well.

As for me , when I reflect upon the year about to finish there are immensely happy and fruitful memories I carry as we transition into fresh times.

I have had the immensely good fortune to connect with truly inspiring personalities via the LinkedIn platform, immense upgradation of one’s knowledge base when directed towards certain industry specific AND personality development programmes including on LinkedIn Learning and an extremely eventful and personally enriching 4 day stay at Bombay – meeting eminent personalities in industry and the corporate world to get to know each more intimately, share thoughts on my upcoming career transition and things to know and do.

Presently awaiting news of my impending last transfer with the organisation I work for causes me a ‘happy’ kind of an anxiety – the sheer suspense of where one is headed end January or so keeps me in a high state of thought! Suddenly things don’t look too dismal here either!!

Seeing life and it’s positivity through a better and more powerfully positive lens is a promise I make to myself as I’m all set to herald in both the New Year and a decisive decade.

I wish the entire fraternity on LinkedIn – particularly the personalities I am directly connected with on the platform as also the eminent who I follow a happy, healthy and positive New Year.
