“Road Warriors”— Army veterans who could revolutionize Bengaluru’s traffic management. Buckle up for this exciting ride!

Bengaluru’s traffic jams are notorious— 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵, 𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘥 𝘯𝘦𝘳𝘷𝘦𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘮𝘪𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴. But what if we could turn this pain point into an opportunity?

Enter my “𝘽𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙎𝙬𝙖𝙥” business model, albeit with a huge difference.

🛵 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗮𝗽 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁:

𝗣𝗶𝗰𝗸-𝗨𝗽 𝗕𝗶𝗸𝗲𝘀:

Imagine a fleet of nimble bikes ( why not even Yulus’ 2-seaters? ) ( do you hear me Amit – https://www.linkedin.com/in/amitgupta007/ ) stationed strategically across the city. Enlarging the scope to not only Veterans of the Indian Defence Forces but their better halves and daughters maybe? ( The D&I guys and gals- the debate on D and I still remains open to discussion)

During peak traffic hours, commuters opt for a bike instead of their cars struggling bumper -to -bumper.

The bike with you as pillion sans your car, zips through narrow lanes, bypassing gridlock. You get home fastest.

BTW -Google Maps has finally realised that driving cars and SUVs through the narrow lanes ( just becoz the route is shortest is a fallacy so offered by them as a freebie). Thank heavens for that – reminded of my experience in Belgaum of years back. More on that later.

𝗖𝗮𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲:

Meanwhile, a dedicated driver (let’s call them the “Car Whisperers”) hops into your car. They navigate the traffic labyrinth, inching toward your location.

Once the roads clear, they reunite you with your car. Or better still – even deliver it home. Go down in the lift in your pyjamas later in your evening, take over the car and park as usual in your designated parking slot.

🔍 𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀:

𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀:

Bikes weave through traffic, slashing commute times. You get home soonest. Can’t wait for the aerial route to get home, can you? Maybe that will get clogged too asap!

Car owners regain precious hours— more productivity, remain viable to less stress. That’s the killer , is it not ?

𝗦𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆:

Start small: pilot in select areas.

As demand grows, expand the network.

Collaborate with ride-sharing platforms for seamless integration.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴:

Imagine bike stations doubling as mini-hubs.

Coffee stands, Wi-Fi zones, and friendly faces.

Commuters connect, share stories, and build camaraderie.

🌈 𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸: The Bike Swap model aligns with Bengaluru’s spirit — innovative, community-driven, and eco-conscious. It’s not just about beating traffic; it’s about transforming our daily grind into a shared adventure. 🌆🚴♂️

Veterans to assist – the credibility of Indian Army personnel in the minds of the Indian populace is immense. Leaving the keys of your precious car to a veteran soldier knowing he will not cheat, pilfer or steal, is a major credible factor.

Having been a uniformed soldier for 31 years and more so fortunate from the Army Service Corps where transportation is a major part of the Charter – credible re-employment in such roles for ex-servicemen, redeems the credo ” Seva Asmakam Dharma” or “Service Before Self”.

𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝗺𝘆 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘀 – 𝘝𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘯 𝘴𝘰𝘭𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘧𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘍𝘰𝘳𝘤𝘦𝘴 𝘥𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘧𝘧 – yes, am extremely passionate on getting my ex-soldiers a suitable assignment /entrepreneurship deal post their team in uniform. It’s actually my life’s calling.

🚀 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀: What tweaks or enhancements would you suggest for this business approach? Let’s brainstorm!

Please comment👇. Would love the engagement to my idea.

Repost for a larger circulation in your community, please. That would be most thoughtful of you – just a click on your mouse for you – but maybe a ex-soldier and his family could get very benefitted from this venture, should this fructify.
