So it’s finally bidding goodbye to 2020 !
What a tumultuous year it’s been for me ! And, I am not talking about the pandemic as everyone seems to be. God has been kind that I was in an assignment where there was just NO possibility of handing me a pink-slip like millions have had to suffer that ignominy. However, as always, I tend to reflect on the positivises rather than the negatives when reflecting on times gone by (typical ZT mentality)!
Let me start my New Year message by elaborating on personalities who really made a HUGE positive difference in my life and I continue to thank them as we all move on into 2021 – the decade of being different and yet collective. Better informed personalities who sift data for information which impacts. Personalities who went beyond their brief repetitively to reach out to support people in need – a helping hand, an ear to ease one out of complexities, support from their network to assist others and redeem faith in humanity.
The initial lockdown opened the world of webinars and Zoom. That’s where amongst the first of many personalities I heard online were Harini and Vikas who continue to support my journey . Ekta Capoor’s webinar featuring Cdr Navneet Bali Sir’s views resounded so deeply.
The journey to effect a smooth transition nine months from now with the assistance and support of so many on this platform gives me tremendous confidence as I eagerly await the new year to unfold. Cavita Verma Ma`am’s MindSkillz programme with Anuradha Chandra as our trainer and Col Amit Varma and Abhay’s as teammates was great fun. Meeting Samar online and hearing his views were just phenomenal.
My PMP journey commenced with Sandesh Sharma Sir’s online training and apart from such an outstanding teacher he held my hand when the going went a bit rough and finally achieved what I had set out to achieve in April. Besides colleagues like Raza Sir, Shubham, Sunil, Sulabh and others were always at hand to help me.
I look forward to 2021 with renewed vigour and untold excitement. While doing so I thank so many, many of you here who have always offered advice and assistance when I sought. I treasure that !
Thank you all very , very much and wish you the best of health and immense happiness to you and family as we ring in the new year.
(As LinkedIn does not permit tagging personalities when writing an article, I shall do so in the Comments section so that these thanks reach your Inbox asap.)
